The Vaudeville Series has become an expression of our shared community experience. Many of our Vaudeville Series audience members are new to live theatre performance outside of the scholastic system. Our company has played a unique role in revitalizing and attracting new audiences to theatre.
Because we work with such a large number of artists, our projects often reflect the concerns of our larger community, such as the housing crisis and environmental and social issues. Our style of performance, which is frequently directly addressed to the audience encourages an intimacy and exchange of ideas that is not always possible with fourth-wall style theatre.
