Atomic Vaudeville creates and performs on the traditional unceded land of the Lekwungen people of the Songhees and Kosapsum Nations.
As a theatre company, we understand that merely acknowledging the land can feel performative if we don’t also actively work to dismantle the interlocking systems of capitalism, colonialism, white supremacy and hetero patriarchy. We hope that in our 90+ episodes, we have given you pause to think about how you can start to dismantle these systems within yourself and your community.
In the words of Fanny Lou Hammer, “Nobody is free until everybody is free”.

ENSEMBLE

TONY ADAMS
Tony could die tomorrow, so appreciate them while they’re still here.

JOHN G. BOEHME
Victoria – based performance artist, educator, and cultural provocateurJohn G. Boehme transforms everyday absurdities into surprising moments of humour, risk, and a touch of the outré. With over 30+ yrs performing worldwide, including in public spaces, he now joins Atomic Vaudeville’s FUNHOUSE, where performance art and theatrical chaos collide and the line between the ridiculous and the sublime is playfully blurred.

TASHA CADENCE
Tasha is an MC, Clown, Singer and Arts Advocate in Victoria BC. After 7 years of performing and collaborating within the local community, she founded the Totally Together Collective in 2025, a production house trying to bring people together through playful creativity. She is the lead singer of jazz/funk group The Phigs, a co-creator of Victori’Us Arts Advocacy group and works hard to keep Victoria a sustainable and vibrant community for artists.

REGAN CHEVALIER-SHORTT
Regan’s been Vaudevilling for over 30 cabarets and once every few years they feel compelled to humble brag in their bio that they’re probably better at Tetris than you are. This is one of those times. Also, Claire: If you’re reading this: Bless you.

JACKIE COOPER
Jackie is just happy to be here. Born again virgin. Your favourite fan girl’s favourite fan girl. You might never see her on stage, but know in your heart she is there. Jackie is also co-captain space bar, created Queer Care Fair, and is currently trying to build an army of lesbians with five dollars to create a queer third space in Victoria.

CLAIRE DIAMANT
Claire believes that we are in a lack-of-saying-Bless-You-epidemic. She encourages you to bless your neighbour when they sneeze to keep evil at bay. When not performing, Claire can be found under a nondescript bridge asking you to solve her riddles three, or to fill out a reCAPTCHA.

AUGUST ELZINGA
August is currently having a panic attack in the booth as they try to answer why pressing a space bar is so scary. Jack of all Trades. Master of None. For their birthday, they’d like one of the following: to be pretty, a jar of Ben Nye clown white lite, a time machine, to be understood, a lethal injection.

KATHLEEN GREENFIELD
Kathleen is the Co-Leader of AV and the Co-Artistic producer of SNAFU Society of Unexpected Spectacles with Ingrid Hamster Hansen. Thleener has been making new art in Victoria since 2005.

SUE HALLATT
SuHal, a retired civil servant, was convinced she didn’t have a creative bone in her body… ’til she entered the FUN HOUSE, and then all hell broke loose.

KELLY HOBSON
Kelly is an actor and Clinical Hypnotherapist, and mom to the best kid ever. She has been performing with AV for 16 years. Kelly is in a pretend band with her partner Alfons, called ‘Decadence.’ You’ll never see Decadence perform, that’s what makes them so cool.
@aplaceinthesunhealingandhypnotherapy

FINN KELLY
Finn is a Victoria based actor and performer best known for his dazzling stage presence, foreboding green glow, wicked scowl, oozing pustules, fetid odour, pallid complexion, wilted demeanor, horrific howling, trail of slime, and entourage of the foul, loathsome, and scorned.
@finklyful

CHELSEA MACEWAN
When not choreographing for Atomic Vaudeville, she can be found.
And she will be.
@chelseadmacewan

DIMITRIY MATIIENKO
Dimitriy is a Slav. Most stereotypes apply.

SARAH MCKIBBIN
This is Sarah’s second show with AV. In case you may not recognize her from her usual resting place in the back of your closet, here are some interesting facts to get to know her better: Sarah never learned how to ride a bike. Sarah never stops talking. Sarah is always at least a little bit dehydrated.

LOUIE LANG NORMAN
He’s not a girl, not yet a woman, but a secret third thing: a part-time female impersonator. Catch him performing around town as drag queen Ket Bush when he’s not being himself. Louie likes horses, making strange performances happen, and loving you.

ALEJANDRO ROJAS
Alejandro is a wandering ethereal apparition from deep in the Andean mountains of Colombia. He showed up to rehearsals one day looking for soup, and was cursed when he mistakenly tasted some bubbling miasma from one of our cauldrons. What is the curse you ask? Eternal beauty.

MICHAEL RODGERS
Hitting senior citizenship this year, Michael has decided to try something completely absurd for a change, and he found it! He’s honoured and humbled to be involved with this diverse and eccentric group of beautiful, creative, talented and supportive people.

SHVII ROSEN
Shviiven King was born in Portland, Maine in 1947, the second son of Donald and Nellie Ruth Pillsbury King. After his parents separated when Shviiven was a toddler, he and his older brother, David, were raised by his mother. He made his first professional short story sale in 1967 to Startling Mystery Stories. Writing in the evenings and on the weekends, he continues to produce short stories and to work on novels.
King, T. (2000). Stephen King | the author (M. DeFilippo, Ed.). Stephenking.Com. https://stephenking.com/the-author/

JILL SEGGIE
Jill unironically believes that when life gives you lemons you should make lemonade. It’s hard to say if her lemonade tastes any good, but it is definitely yellow and that’s all that matters. Wanna taste?

BRITT SMALL

MEG VUKELIC
Meg is sometimes Meg, but is also sometimes a 900 year old Slavic bog witch. Meg is a standup comedian. They both enjoy a good soup.

JACK WIDOW
Jack is so very grateful to have a platform for their strange intrusive thoughts.
Your discomfort is their joy.
