The Vaudeville Series has become an expression of our shared community experience with bold audience engagement and absurdist social and political commentary. It has become a cult favourite in Victoria since its inception in 2004.
Because we work with such a large number of artists, our projects often reflect the concerns of our larger community, such as the housing crisis and environmental and social issues. Our style of performance, which is frequently directly addressed to the audience encourages an intimacy and exchange of ideas that is not always possible with fourth-wall style theatre.
