Step into the mirror and descend into the uncanny with Atomic Vaudeville’s 90th Cabaret, DOPPELGÄNGER. A wild collision of ghostly counterparts, identity crises, and Kubrickian fever dreams, this latest instalment dares to ask: what happens when you split yourself in two?
From free-speech cults to fever dreams, AI tech to your own unshakable reflection, this surreal, satirical spectacle blends sketch comedy, live music, dance battles and high-camp horror in a night of theatrical mischief.
Expect haunting hilarity, surreal sketches, live music, and the kind of absurd brilliance only Atomic Vaudeville can conjure.

“AV shows never cease to amaze me. The creativity, humour, zaniness, puppetry, buffoonery, social commentary and satire is unmatched in Victoria.”
Sliding Scale Tickets
GENERAL ADMISSION
$40
Just your classic, no-frills, full-thrills ticket. You’re paying the standard rate, which helps keep the lights on, the wigs teased, and the existential dread theatrical. Thanks for showing up! We literally couldn’t do this without you.
PAY IT FORWARD
$60
Feeling flush and generous? This ticket tier lets you support the chaos and the cause. Your extra bucks help us offer reduced-price tickets to historically marginalized folks, because weird, wonderful theatre should be for everyone. You’re not just buying a seat, you’re making space.
COMMUNITY TICKET
$20
A limited number of tickets for historically marginalized folks, including but not limited to BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+, disabled, and low-income community members. If the standard price is a barrier, this one’s for you. Take up space. You belong here.
VIP TABLE FOR 4
$200
Roll up in style. For $200, you and three lucky weirdos get your own table near the stage (the only way to guarantee you’ll sit together). Comes with premium views, a place to park your drink, and the smug satisfaction of being very important.

“So cathartic to laugh together at the absurdity of our modern lives / current political hellscape … had me howling and hooting and hollering so much I lost my dang voice!”

At our inception in 2004, Atomic Vaudeville sought to be a voice of the city. Since then, we have
worked with more than 400 local and visiting artists, creating a network of theatre practitioners
across the country. AV is instrumental to the ongoing support and mentorship of
contemporary voices emerging from the Victoria community, having mentored and platformed
artists like JIMBO the Drag Clown (RuPaul’s Drag Race), Ingrid Hansen (Jim Henson Company
puppeteer), and Shirley Gnome (Juno Award nominee).
