Atomic Vaudeville presents its new comedy show, A Very Beatles Christmas, on Wednesday and Thursday at the Victoria Event Centre. The show features carollers singing Beatles songs, an audience sing-a-long to cheesy synthesizer accompaniment and a live version of the Abbey Road medley done with cello, keyboards and violin. There will also be comedy skits about the Manson family celebrating Christmas with fiendish interpretations of Beatles songs, and the Monkees undergoing a bad acid trip. The Victoria Event Centre is at 1415 Broad St. Performances start at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 and $10. To reserve, phone 885 - 2837 |
